I’m Holly, the maker behind Reverie Studio. I’m a third-generation craftsperson, and making has always been a constant in my life. Over the years, I’ve been mentored by established artists and creative people who have shaped both my craft and the way I see.
My work lives where art, design, and everyday function meet. I’m drawn to organic forms, natural lines, and the textures and shapes I notice in both the city and the landscape around me. Whether I’m building a piece of pottery or painting a portrait, I’m most interested in how something feels, how it holds memory, and how it becomes part of daily life.
I came to clay through a long love of art and design, and hand-building is the process that feels most true to me. Every piece is shaped by hand in my little green house studio, built with intention and meant to be used and enjoyed—at the table, in the garden, or worn as part of your day. No mass production. No shortcuts. Just honest materials, thoughtful design, and the satisfaction of making something from the ground up.
Living with a chronic health condition has shaped this way of working, guiding me toward a slower, more intentional process. It’s deepened my attention to detail and reinforced the value of care and quality in everyday life.
If something I’ve made becomes part of your daily rhythm—your morning coffee, your garden, something you wear or keep close—well, that’s quite an honor.
